Concierge
Do you like to help people feel welcome and included? Do you like to welcome and greet first time visitors?
We need loving, warm, and friendly people to serve at the Concierge Desk in the Gathering Place before and after both Sunday services. This desk will help welcome new visitors, provide them with a free gift, and help them get connected.

Inspirations Coffee Cafe & Gift Shop
Do you enjoy coffee and inspirational gifts? We need enthusiastic volunteers to serve before and after both Sunday worship services.
Volunteers are also needed during the week to help with restocking inventory, light cleaning, coffee refill, and set up.

Ushers
Responsible for greeting people,
distributing the worship bulletin,
helping people find seating,
collecting the offering and directing
traffic during communion.
We need ushers for both the 9 am & 11 am Sunday Services. There are 10 exciting teams! Each team ushers one service a month.

Welcome Team
Do You like Helping people feel special and welcome the moment they arrive to the church? If so, this is just the team for you!
We want to welcome people to the church and show them where to go. Welcome Team Members are positioned at each entrance and sidewalk, greeting people with a smile and kind word, and offering directions or answering questions.

AA Recovery Group
This is an Open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous which meets on Tuesdays from 7 pm - 8 pm in the Wellness Center.

Care Calling
This ministry provides telephone contact
with our members and friends
who are ill or home-bound, receives calls in the office, and provides a follow up call to all first-time visitors.

E-Prayers & Praise
This vital ministry collects and distributes the prayer concerns and praise reports of our congregants and its friends and allies. This truly is an exhorting ministry, as it lifts up the body in communal prayer. Members of this ministry need not be members or friends of Resurrection or even MCC as all are welcome and encouraged to pray for one another.
As scripture assures us in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."
This prayer group has in excess of 200 members around the globe. To join others in praying for the needs and rejoicing in the triumphs of those making requests, clck here to be added to the E-Prayer Group or here to notify us of a Prayer Request / Praise Report.
The email addresses of this group remains confidential and are not shared with anyone, including other members of the group.
Fishers Net Prayer Ministry
Looking for people to pray!
This powerful ministry meets every Sunday in the Chapel at 10:15 am. The focus of the prayer ministry is to pray for the individual and corporate needs of the church and world at large. They also offer personal prayers at the alter following the 11 am Worship Service on Sunday.

Holy Union Preparation Seminars
Are you and your partner thinking about having a Holy Union?
This seminar is the first step, and a prerequisite to having a Holy Union performed by the clergy of Resurrection MCC. It is designed to help couples discuss relationship matters while keeping Christ in the center of their relationship.

This team offers visits to members and friends of Resurrection
MCC, who are in the hospital
or who are home-bound as a result
of illness or surgery, when requested.
Loaves & Fishes
Our Beverage and Food Service team
care for our congregation by providing

O.W.L.S.
OWLS is our Seniors' Ministry, and stands for Outreach, Wisdom, Laughter, & Support. However, there are no age requirements - just a desire to participate with a group of wonderful individuals who have reached their "golden" years.
Luncheons, which include a devotional, socializing, and singing, are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Gathering Place.

Second Family Care Partners
The Care team acts as extended family and friends, offering three basic types of support: emotional, practical, and spiritual.

This team receives calls in the church office, registers service attendance, and assists with other light clerical assignments.

Wellness Ministry
Are you looking for added support to work through the issues of life?
The purpose of the Wellness Ministry is to offer programs to enhance and/or strengthen the mental, physical and spiritual wholeness of the congregation and community.
By presenting a variety of programs, the Wellness ministry focuses on offering group and individual support to those dealing with such issues as grief, long-term illness, relationships, self-esteem, and/or spiritual direction.

Volunteer Development
New Member & Spiritual Gifts Assessment Classes
If you are ready to make the next step in your commitment to being part of our church, this is the class for you.
This class provides an opportunity to learn the history and beliefs of our church as well as understand how the organizational structure of our church operates. You will learn how you have been uniquely and spiritually gifted by God and be directed in how you can use your gifts as a member of Resurrection MCC.
The curriculum includes three major areas: a discussion of spiritual gifts, a spiritual gifts inventory for self-discovery of one’s own unique spiritual gifts, and an exploration of Resurrection’s ministries with respect to areas of passion and spiritual gifts.
At the conclusion of this class, you will be scheduled for a rite of membership Sunday in which you will be introduced to the congregation, receive your certificate, and be inducted as a Member of Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church.
Ministry Volunteer Development Training
Have you always wanted to get involved in some ministry in the church but didn’t know how? These Saturday development training days were designed especially for you. You can come and learn about many volunteer opportunities and be oriented and trained in how to participate and sever in a many exciting areas of ministry.
Small Groups
H.O.M.E. Groups Ministry
H.O.M.E. (“Homes Open For Ministry And
Encouragement”) Groups are small groups,
sponsored by Resurrection, which meet regularly
for study, prayer, fellowship, and ministry
to each other. Most groups meet in homes,
while others meet at the church. Some groups
have special interests but most are open to
anyone. Groups are facilitated by volunteer
leaders who have agreed to assume this responsibility
and attend regular training and discussion

Recreation Team
Angels Softball
Providing mutual care through fun and
recreation, the Angels softball team plays
two seasons each year as part of the Houston
Women’s Softball League. All women
are welcomed.
