My Commitment to Grow
As we live our relationship with God, some spiritual growth happens spontaneously.
Ways to embark on a more intentional spiritual journey include
attending worship regularly, joining a HOME Group, meeting weekly with a
prayer and sharing group, daily devotionals, undertaking an intensive Bible study
course, etc.
I seek to become more “intentional” about my spiritual growth by:
My Commitment to Give
When we give to the work of God we get the opportunity to express our
deepest gratitude to God for the blessings we have received, provide a human
response to what God initiated in our life and our church, and release our blessings
to bless another. Resurrection encourages all members and friends to
prayerfully consider the level at which you will share your life’s blessings.
Percentage based giving allows you to give in relation to your income and
provides a target to monitor your growth. Your commitment below is between
you and God and is only provided to show your “intentional” commitment to
give.
I commit to give to support the ministries of Resurrection
and am giving in
the following category:
Becomer (1% - 4%)
Striver (5% - 9%)
Inspirer (10% or more)
My Commitment to Serve
God has blessed each of us with certain spiritual gifts. Our challenge is to identify those gifts and find ways to use those talents for the service of God and
others. If you want to learn more about how to use your gifts, passions, time
and talents to serve, be sure to complete the
Spiritual Gifts Assessment .
The following list consist of some of our ministry teams. Connect to your
life purpose by flinging open the door of your heart through participation in
ministry. Only together can we live out our core values of spiritual transformation,
inclusion, community, and social action. Each team will provide the necessary training and will work around your time availability.
